So the school year will be halfway over in less than 2 weeks. KU hasn't beaten Mizzou in a single sporting event, MU has been invited to join the premier conference in the country, the football team is scouring the island of misfit coaches for Gill's replacement, and KU is even ranked behind us in basketball.

Is this the low point in KU athletic history?

I didn't hear it all as I was just starting the car, but I think they said A&M were interested in Sumlin (sp?) from Houston and were going to talk to him, or were expected to, or something.

I think KU's opening hinges on what A&M does. Once they hire, I think everybody else will fall into place.

Zenger has been pretty tight lipped about everything. Yeah, there has been a lot....A LOT.....of fan & media speculation, but nobody really knows what's going on right now.

He could have interviewed several people at this point, or maybe he is sitting there with his thumb up his ass. Not sure that anyone outside of KU really knows what's going on. Just wish that they would get it done.
