Looking to buy an RV

I am at the point in my life where I want to do some camping and relax...

I want to buy a New RV , I want about a 16footer but I want it to be super light.

Looked at scamps and Catista on the internet and really like those and would like to see similar brands to these.

I have a V6 Explorer with the towing package , I am very experienced obviously at pulling very heavy trailers but thats not what I want... Just want something light in the 10k-15k range I can pay cash for.

This is pretty cool , I have 30 amp service here , both air conditioners plus TV plus lights for about 26 to 27 amps and the refrigerator , say I want to use the microwave oven which pulls 10 or 11 amps on hi , this would put me well over 30 amps and tripping breaker normally , When the amps go over 30 it will automatically shut down the rear air conditioner rear air compressor and the refrigerator until after restored without tripping a breaker

That's not my camper. Mine is exactly like that though. I just don't have any pic of mine.

I was in your neck of the woods this weekend. Spent the last couple of days at Bucksaw.

It was, but I was tied to a cedar tree out in the boat last night until about 9:00 and it was really nice. Once I got back to the campground I could really feel the humidity though.

I cleaned 2 crappie last night. One about 13" and the other just under 10". A few small ones here and there. We really didn't fish a lot though.

I have a three year old and a one year old and traveling with them by trailer is awesome. We can bring all of their favorite food and toys. The youngest sleeps in a portacrib, but the oldest has a bunk bed that's just hers where she can curl up and play with her stuff. They really enjoy taking trips that way and it's much easier than lugging all of that stuff in and out of hotels. Plus when we get to a campground there is typically more they can do than if we were in a hotel.

It's a great way to go if you have pets too. Our dog is pretty neurotic and will bark if he hears a noise. If he's in the trailer he does much better because he knows it and has his favorite spots to lay in the sun and wait for us to come back.

That said, if you prefer going to exotic locations or big cities for your vacations then it's probably not the best way to go.
