Game of Thrones *Spoiler* Thread

There's been some recent confusion with the old spoiler thread, so I'm kicking off a new one for tonight's premiere. This is going to be the one for folks who've read all the books. So anything anybody might want to talk about is in bounds. Suffice to say, if you haven't read the books, you'll probably want to stay out of here until you do...

I'll bump the old spoiler-free thread shortly in case anybody's interested. For future reference the link to that one is here

Come on, guys, it's been in the books for 15 years or so, and the episode ran tonight.

It never explicitly says but that's certainly what you're led to believe.

I think this is when poor Tyrion begins his long, hard path of going through a lot of crap.

Poor little midget. He is one of my favorite characters.

Werd.

But if you read carefully, Oberyn might have dispatched of Tywin before Tyrion.

I always liked the Dontos theory myself, that the hairnet (now necklace) he gave Sansa had a poisoned stone. We'll see if the necklace is missing a stone next week.

And now Tyrion gets to dive into the river of shit that's the rest of the series (so far) for him.

Makeup on Jack Gleeson was awesome, btw.

I'd love to know that Sansa did it.

You know, they may have played up all the clues in the book:

Dontos gives her the necklace, which she wears to the wedding.

The Queen of Thorns messes with her hair (does she touch anywhere around the necklace?).

Was the goblet close enough for Olanna to have dropped it in there? Margaery did carry it off in that direction.

I was too busy gleefully waiting for Joffrey to die to pay too close attention.

I'm sure I'll watch it at least two more time before the next episode.

Line of the night had to be Olanna telling Tywin that he should enjoy himself before he dies.

Man, I almost wish I hadn't read the book.
