A student led project that hopes to change the world!

As many of you already know, I am currently a senior at a high school in central Kansas. As explained in the video, My friend Jake and I started a project attempting to raise enough money to bring two laptops and internet to a school in Nepal. This original goal of the project was to raise enough money to bring a library to this school, but after having a multitude of difficulties launching that project, Jake and I turned our focus to bringing internet to this school. Our hope is that we will soon be able to share skype conversations with the students in this classroom, and that this will open the school to an innumerable amount of possibilities.

Well, KAKE news expressed an interest in covering the story a couple of weeks ago, however, since the snowstorm and the shooting in Arizona, I think our project may have been shifted to the side. However, I definitely think I'll start e-mailing more media outlets now that the project is beginning to take off.
