Since this is yet another thread that's become about Cassel, who he throws to, and his arm strength, let's toss out some numbers that people here like to ignore, and let's not use the Patriots numbers since people here like to claim they don't count. Here's Bowe, a WR who's not a slot WR, as part of the 2010 season:

19th in receptions, with 72

11th in 1st downs, with 55

1st in touchdowns, with 15

6th in 20+ yard gains, with 19

11th in 40+ yard gains, with 4

12 in yards per game, with 72.4

How about you make it relevant and compare Cassel to other average QBs.

Most teams have TWO guys with numbers close to those above.

It is relevant. Unthinking, stupid posts to the contrary by the Cassel haters have made it so. As for what you claim most teams to have, take a look at the Chargers in 2010.

i bought into the fact that Cassel is going to throw mostly short dink passes and checkdowns so I am taking a leap of faith out of desperation and starting McCluster on my fantasy team. Mainly because I am desperate at RB and leagues still list him at RB.

I'm sure it will blow up in my face but the small chance that Cassel craps himself and McCluster is the only guy he will throw 5 yard passes to in garbage time, I am set up for that failure.

So most teams have TWO receivers in the TOP 12 of all but one major statistical category and top 6 in TDs, and catches over 20 yards.......No.

I'll bet there isn't 5 teams with two receivers like that.
Receptions may be the only category you can make that claim about.
