How come this game has me jacked up right now? I couldn't sleep because this game is taking place today. It's a regular season game and we still play them again. I don't understand my emotions, but I never been so ready for a Chief game like this one.

Bob Sutton you better not play conservative today, let our guys attack. You take out the head and the body will die. We gotta make sure we do everything in the world to kill Peyton Mannings head. We want him running sideways. We want his head sideways.

Even if the Chiefs lose today, if they win in 2 weeks, I think they win the division and eventually HFA for the playoffs.

(Maybe tied with the 03 Colts playoff game.)

This, and why I can't work up much emotion about this game - the home game is going to tell us WAY more about this team than tonight will - unless it happens to be a blowout either way.

Frankly, all we have to do is split. Win tonight and the game in arrowhead is a potential clincher.

Yep. No shame in losing in Denver if we keep it close, but a win in Arrowhead is a must.

As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm keeping an even keel. This game is more about perceptions.

If we win, it's not like we've actually won anything, like a playoff game. We can still go tits up in the postseason. If we lose, we still have a lot of football to play, and can make some noise in the playoffs. There's gonna be a lot of chatter and predictions win (they're legit!) or lose (they're frauds!), but still a long way to go to get too worked up either way.

Agreed. The only result that would concern me is getting blown out.

We aren't going undefeated and this is the most likely loss on the schedule. That said I think we have a puncher's chance tonight. Get after Manning AND tackle. Most of their yards come off of bullshit plays that they get a ton of YAC on. Peyton has struggled throwing downfield since the ankle injury.

On offense....Can't have the drops like against Buffalo OR miss 2 open TD's like Alex did against Cleveland.
