When the first one went in I just knew the second one was gonna happen and I was praying they could keep out a third. Was Uri hurt? Just why did Vermes sub in Peterson with FC playing all the tall trees? We were a man down and you take off your holding center mid for a hair is on fire pressuring wing player? That was two huge points we gave away, man down or not. Vermes is going to lose his job because he is too proud to realize the gift of the 2-0 lead he was given and instead decides to push for more. Love what management has done getting talent but until Vermes is gone, we are going to see this more often than not.

I've thought Vermes was a problem for a LONG time. His talented players covered up a great deal of red flags but no more. His coaching (or lack there of) and schemes have made our even world class players look bad. Zus did not look like the same player out there neither did Bees really. Maybe that is the difference from being on a team with solid coaching and super committed and focused players.

I think we have good players. There is just no cohesion and consistency. And now our players are starting to make stupid brain dead mistakes like Sapong did. They are also becoming more aggressive and stand offish in silly ways. Signs, I believe, that Vermes has lost much of his team.

Yes, and merchandise sales will drop off. That is one of the risks of having a younger audience. Their attention spans are short and they expect results overnight. They don't have long term loyalties.

Anyone catch the U-20 v Ghana? My god their horrible. Defenders constantly out of position, and no imagination or ball skills up front(typical US). At least Cropper looks good in goal.
