The kid is a big asset as a playmaker, the biggest knock on him is that he isn't a Linebacker or a Nose Tackle.

The kid is going to be great.
The Bama CB was getting his ass handed to him. LOL I hope that wasn't Arenas. |

I agree, the more I learn about his the more excited I get. The NFL is all about matchups, and a lineup with McCluster and Charles is going to be fun to watch. I was one of those guys who never appreciated Wes Welker. I wrote him off in Miami because he was 5'9" and 185 lbs. McCluster is 5'9 172 If this guy can run routes and has hands he will see a ton of playing time. Who would you rather see out there in the slot, Lance Long or this kid? |

When he rips off his first 85 yard TD, even the haters will spill beer cheering, and then they'll quietly sulk back into their chairs, feeling as embarrassed as the time they realized they were caught admiring gay porn.

04/16/2010 - Dexter McCluster has always been more Houdini than halfback. Whenever the former Largo High and University of Mississippi runner has been trapped by a cluster of defenders, he has invariably wriggled out of their reach, leaving a trail of disbelieving players and fans. Javier Arenas has always been able to make people miss. The former Robinson High standout started at cornerback for the University of Alabama, but he made his mark more in the return game, where he could wend around the field as if operated by a joystick. But if there's one thing the two players have been unable to avoid, it's questions about their height. McCluster is 5 feet 8, Arenas 5-9. They are a matched set of minnows, card-carrying members of the runt fraternity in this year's draft class. Though teams have looked at height - or lack thereof - as if it were a physical handicap, McCluster and Arenas have been able to shine because they are a study in little moves made right. And both could be the highest bay area selections in next week's draft. "Size always seems to be the topic of discussion," McCluster said. "But it hasn't been an issue lately. It's definitely something that hasn't stopped me yet. "I just want to have an opportunity, and I'm not going to let anyone down once I get that chance." McCluster, who had individual workouts with the Patriots and Chiefs at Largo High this week, is projected as a mid- to late-second-round pick. - Bob Putnam, St. Petersburg Times

He could go on to average 13 touchdowns a season for his career, but all that we will ever hear about is the middle of our defense getting beat.

What is sad is people are going to hate on guys likes McCluster and Arenas only because they aren't a ILB or NT. Plain and simple no other reason for it. These two players are elite playmakers, but they are going to be critzied because they don't fix our front seven of the defense to some. It is beyond sad really as these two players could become Chiefs greats with their abilities!

Yes, really.
Find a "drafturbator" that wants Carl back, or that ever wanted to hire Cowher.

That's obviously an elaborate lie by the Eagles to make KC's draft look better. I heard it on CP.
