Transitions lenses

Do you have them? Did you like them? Did you feel it was worth the extra expense?

I'm going in for new eyeglasses this week and am taking the plunge into high end progressives. I already know I'm going with crizal for my scratch and antiglare coating. Just can't decide if the transitions is worth it or not for one extra added convenience.

One last comment and I cant stress this enough eyeglass frames go out of style about as fst as it takes to get your order. Ray Ban sunglasses never do I dont know why but they just get it right. Get the cheapest functional eyeglasses you can because you will replace as soon as can hardly anyone ever gets new lenses in an old frame. It isn't that way with RB they are forever unless your prone to losing. I have never had the clip on's seem interesting but do look like a good way to scratch and I hate scratches causes halo's and other strange glare and distortion.

I know I promised but I just remember something. Maybe worth a look but one the engineers where I work swears by zenni optical. I know he says he never pays over a 100 bucks through them and they look nice. Worth a look I suppose any cp'ers purchased through them?

For single vision lenses they are great. Not for progressives. I've done both with them
