I guess you don't follow the Steelers or watch any other team than the Chiefs because this guy is constantly injured and would not be a good pickup, whatsoever.

2001-Played 16 Games
2002-Played 12 Games
2003-Played 16 Games
2004-Played 3 games so far (questionable for the playoffs divisional roound, won't be a 100% healthy till the offseason with this Groin injury.

So I wouldn't say he is "constantly injured" since 3 of his 4 first years he played 44 of 48 games and then this year had the groin pull. If he can show he has healed and is 100% healthy in the off-season. Sign him

Is he any worse than what we currently have? No. He's young and has been productive when he's on the field. I'm all for signing him, at the right price.

If the front office in Pittsburgh is anything like their fans, Bell was gone yesterday. The fans here HATE Bell. They think he is a giant pussy, and know that they can win without him. In fact, a couple of my buddies who are Steelers fans make fun of me because a lot of prognosticators have said we'll end up with Bell.

If Pitt lets him go, we have no choice, we have to take a shot at him, injury prone or not, we lack a leader on defense and this guy could be that and thats what we need is a true leader on defense.

Kendrell Bell is a solid as they come Free Agent MLBer. He's leaps and bounds better than what we currently have and we desperately need a field general for the defense. I've like what I have seen in the past of Bell and am shocked by some of the comments regarding Bell being a puss, ect...In 47 games played, Bell has 240 tackles, 18 sacks, and 1 Int. He's also fairly young, but has some upside and experience. I think Bell is better than some give him credit for. He may have been injured, but not as much as some would leave you to believe. BTW, how many games has Kawicka missed? Maslowski?

I have no problems in taking Bell. On the other hand, his injury woes concern me. If healthy he is by FAR better than any LBer we have. I don't think it would be too keen either if we gave him millions and millions of dollars. In other words, depends on his asking price, and prove he can stay healthy.

His injuries are exactly why I think we can afford him. He's still young and has lots of upside. I think Bell would make a damn good pick-up for us.

Fujita is an OUTSIDE LBer, Bell is INSIDE LBer. I'm not sure Fujita remains a Chief or not. I think we re-sign him if we can get a 1 year minimum tender, but if we have to match somebody's offer, I think we pass. We need a MLBer to be our field general and I think Bell, fits the description in every way for the Chiefs being a legit team to get him. We need a young ascending player to help mold Mitchell.

He's leaps and bounds better than what we currently have and we desperately need a field general for the defense. I've like what I have seen in the past of Bell and am shocked by some of the comments regarding Bell being a puss, ect...In 47 games played, Bell has 240 tackles, 18 sacks, and 1 Int. He's also fairly young, but has some upside and experience. I think Bell is better than some give him credit for. He may have been injured, but not as much as some would leave you to believe. BTW, how many games has Kawicka missed? Maslowski? __________________ A 35 year drought can make you thirsty.
