Would you replace Pioli, Romeo and Cassel with AJ, Norf and Rivers?

Having no other option for the next 3 years, would you swap GM, HC and QB with the cHargers or stay the course?
BTW - This is a spin off of DarthPioliSatan's "Haters" thread.

If this guy was playing with a good WR corps he'd be a 5,000-yard passer and 13-game winner every season.

As it is he is still going to throw for 40,000 yards and 250 TDs in his NFL career. He's only 31 and has 178 career TDs and 26,000 yards.

He is better than any QB we have had in a long time, including Green.

I have always thought Rivers would eventually get it done but every year it seems more likely he never will. He has done a job making average WR better but he also has melted down and the wrong time enough to make it more than a trend. Last week both his INT's were not only terrible but costly. The first, which was one of the worst INT's all year, would have been a game timing field goal if he throws it away.

Floyd is not a borderline #2. He is a solid #2. Rivers and Romo just don't seem to have it in the big moments. Sometimes its not all their fault. It may just be a combo of cursed and anti-clutch.

Edit: In response to your edit, yes he is better than what we have had but I am not sure he is ever going to lead a team to a SB. I wouldn't be upset having him, but the goal here is winning a SB. Not sure if he has what it takes. Every year he makes it harder to believe. Its not just whats around him, its what he does in certain moments.

Agree, but Floyd is certainly a legit #2. Alexander looks to have some potential if his knees don't give out (doubtful).

The only reason you think Floyd is any good is because he plays with Rivers.

He'd look like shit in KC.

This is a WR who has never had more than 43 catches. With Philip Rivers.

Dude, Rivers is a better QB than Eli Manning.

The only difference is the level of talent around them.

Rivers has played behind a horrible line with practically no legit WRs the last two seasons.

If Rivers had Eli's WRs he'd be ****ing killing it.

Even so he still puts up 4500+ yards. He's criminally underrated by people just because of his douchey attitude.

43 catches seems normal to me in a Coryell system that has a HOF TE, a legit #1 in Jackson, and Sproles/Matthews.

What is he on pace for this year?

Sure, cherry pick one bad play.

When Rivers had a top flight WR the Chargers were ****ing deadly on offense.

There is a reason he was in the AFC Championship game a couple years ago.

****.

You are talking shit on a guy who will retire with 40,000 yards and 250 TDs. Period. You are obtuse.

I mean, if you think that Rivers is better than Eli, that is fine.

There was a reason that Eli has 2 SB rings and 2 MVP trophies.

You're the one that thinks he is better than a 2X SB/MVP winning QB who beat a 17-0 team in one of his SBs. JFC, you think I'm obtuse? Come on GoChiefs. I think Rivers is without a doubt one of the better QBs in the league. However, he's played poorly the past 2 years. If you really think he's better than Eli, IDK what to tell you.

Eli's team has given him a lot more help than Rivers has ever had for the most part.

They are both very very good QBs but I give a slight nod to Rivers.

Eli would not have had any success in SD.

Eli took an UDFA in Cruz and turned him into stud. Made Domenik Hixon look respectable at times. He never had a HOF RB, HOF TE and an elite WR on his roster all at the same time.

You put Eli on a team with LT, Gates, and VJ I think he trashes Philip. I guess we just have to agree to disagree I suppose.
