Heh.

I instructed fat ****s that weighted 350+, and they managed to pass a medical.

Nothing like instructing while being jammed against the window like a ****ing Garfield suction ornament.

If the only plane they have is a 150 or a 152 you will have to drop a lot of fuel.

My last instructor was easily 260lbs. Maybe that's why I sucked at ground reference maneuvers.. he was throwing off the CG of the aircraft and ****ing up my S-turns.

I wouldn't spin a Warrior, but a Cessna, yes.

I gave all of my students the option of real spin training. Most of them took me up on the offer, and one time a guy even shit his pants.

It was just a basic, one revolution recovery. The guy was always nervous, but JFC.

It's better to experience everything that happens up to, during, and after so that they know to not get in the situation.

Jam rudder opposite spin and pitch down.

Would I actually manage that in an emergency? Probably not. RIP Discuss Thrower.

Realizing I was busting all sorts of FARs when my first solo cross country got weathered out was scary enough. Figured with my luck an FAA goon was on the tarmac ready scissor my Class 3 medical as soon as I got back to the field.

Oil won't double within a year.

Increased supply, increasing fuel efficiency, slowing growth rates for usage among emerging markets are all going to keep oil from running straight back up.

It won't stay around $50, but it won't run back to $100 anytime soon.

Fine, within 12 to 36 months.

I'll play the long con and I'll be optimistic the country doesn't collapse in that span due to automation or global pandemic.

Make some bank and use that money on hookers and blow.
