nfl networks best/worst chiefs picks of all times.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...st-draft-picks

saw this on their site. thought it was meh. but for a fan, especially one who wasn't around in the sixties, thought there was some (little) insight.

my bad if repost.

Morris could've been something else. It's a shame that didn't work out. I remember thinking he was going to be a long term #1 WR after he tore the Chargers a new asshole.

Damn shame.

Ethan Horton was even worse than Palmer. He was so bad at RB, the Raiders ended up coverting him to Tight End after they picked him up.

I think Bobby Bell was the best pick ever, with DT right behind him. No dissing of Buck intended whatsoever, with Tony being in the top 5, but surely not the best.

The pick that absolutely hurt the worst was Blackledge, because of what we could have had otherwise.
Jenkins and Jozwiak were the biggest dumbass what were you thinking picks ever, especially Jozwiak because he was such a high 1st round pick. I will agree Blackledge set back the team the most because of his position and he played just well enough to make people believe he would improve, which he didn't.

So I give Jozwiak the prize because he was the biggest dumbass pick in this teams history.

People like to bag on the Jenkins pick, and yea he was a bust, but it really didnt set the team back. He was a late round flyer. and looking at that draft, there wasnt much of anything around where he was picked.

late round? he was a first rounder, man. hell, if you were going to go tackle, just freaking draft zach wiegert. he had a pretty damned decent career for the rams and a few other teams IIRC

Um...Carl didn't pick Sackledge. That would be the handiwork of Jack Steadman. He's in the Chiefs Ring of Honor, y'know....

Oh, come on man. That was an awful reach pick. Just terrible. I can overlook Slo Mo and Percy Snow because of injuries, but Jenkins was just wiping our ass with a number one pick. Terrible.

Ethan was bad. Palmer was bad. Harvey Williams was bad. Greg Hill was bad. Do we see a trend here???
