Here's a belated mock, because draft discussion never gets old
Now we know the Chiefs won't draft any higher than 20th. The 20s could be a safe place to draft an offensive tackle. Levi Brown might be the pick. It seems like the defensive tackles drop-off after Branch. I've never heard of Demarcus Tyler.
This mock has the Chiefs selecting Dwayne Jarrett, which I like. I'm not sure Jarrett will be on the board when the Chiefs pick. I didn't know he only ran a 4.6, and the comparison to Mike Williams doesn't make much sense to me. I know they are about the same height. Jarrett seems more athletic, and not a guy who could switch to tight end. Levi Brown makes sense right now. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html |

The DTs definitely drop off, but there are still guys worth taking.
Louisville's Amobi Okoye would be a fine pick. He'd give us by far the most energetic, high motor, non-stop DL in all of football. |

I remember several early mocks last year had the Chiefs drafting Hali. Then came the Manny Lawson buzz, and people were upset when the Chiefs drafted Hali. Here's some players we're discussing for this year. Feel free to add to this list.
Dwayne Jarrett Omabi Okoye Levi Brown

Here's a mock that has the Chiefs drafting DeMarcus Tyler. Also check out the #1 pick. It could easily happen. I say let the Faders take a guy who has injury issues. Their offensive line won't help him, either.
