Call of Duty will go head-to-head with Battlefield 3 in 2011.

The third game in the series, which will be shown to press during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next month, is set for release this coming fall, Electronic Arts confirmed.

The publisher revealed the first teaser trailer for the game on its official website tonight. The trailer, which contains no actual gameplay, displays quick cuts of helicopters, ground troops, tanks and fighter jets.

Additional details courtesy of the official Battlefield Blog confirm a full single-player and co-op campaign, jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer for the PC version. The Frostbite 2 engine will power the game and a Limited Edition will be revealed around GDC.

Developer DICE confirmed earlier this morning it was canceling the release of Battlefield 1943 and the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught pack for PC.

It is not really camping when the team keeps rushing an objective.

Now what I do in the cave out in the open. That is camping, have had 3 15+ and 0 games. Damn. Stealth bomber cost me more perfect games with that high of kill totals. Can only do it as the army though. Black guys stickout because they don't get ghulies(sp?) Best so far is 27-0 camping.

You mean the spot that was constantly being hammered by the other team with no down time, in an objective based game where the goal is to not lose that flag, with me being outnumbered at all times 2-1 or 3-1? Gee, perhaps ONE guy could have figured out that the window behind me gives them a perfect opportunity to flank me and take me out of that position.

Yeah, that's defending, not camping. Nice try though.

How the **** do you use night vision with the tanks? I unlocked it but can't figure out how to use it.

You have to load out your tank just like your weapons, vehicles are listed when you go to load out your gear. I still hate how they setup that crap....way too many steps to simply add a freaking option to anything.

The NV tank perk is ok. I'm much more partial to the Infrared scope on guns. Shit is unstoppable at times.

The Back to Karkand pack includes four new maps and a range of new weapons and vehicles.

Pretty sure they are going to force everyone to download it too like they did with Vietnam in bc2, then if you don't have the map pack you'll pay for the unlock and download a small file.

No, that's still just camping. The point is to defend with your other teammates. Setting up perimeters and putting traps and sensors where needed for holes in your defense. You camped dude. You suck. MW3 sucks. Leave.
