The Difference between Men and Boys is the price of their Toys

I am sure a lot of you have toys and hobbies that soak up your down time. So what do you have? Lets see what the folks of Chiefsplanet like to do when your not talking football. I think it would be pretty cool to post up some pics and videos of your toys in action or just posing.

Here are a couple Pics of my FJ Cruiser, its great for bombing through the desert and a pretty capable rock crawler. Great for exploring and camping in the middle of nowhere.

You have to get the miles. And that's not always easy to do. You have to get in real good with your dispatcher. I've seen lease programs wash people right out of the business.

There are some things I would do differently if I started over but I'm pretty pleased with it so far. I'm getting ready to upgrade the fuel system and tune it better so I can use the nitrous. I haven't sprayed the motor yet because I didn't want a lean condition on the motor. Patience
yes, patience for sure. Mine are 65 years old. That means 65 year old bolts and nuts. Lots of PB Blaster, and lots of patience. I wasnt really into restoring old vehicles until last spring. I played with one several years ago but had to move and it had to go. It's my stress reliever now, unless of course one of those old bolts break.

I have one running, neither road worthy quite yet but should be cruising in the lefty by this fall.
Since the snowpocalypse dumped a blanket on us I’ve been driving mine to work.

This is my newest way to get to Trout Streams on Gravel Roads up in the Northeast part of Iowa. Tie my fly rod to the back of my bags. Go camping and fishing.

First one is the lefty, second is project number two.
Some day I want to do a frame off restoration on something. I have toyed with the idea of an old truck or maybe an old FJ40.

My problem is I only have time to be actively involved in one or 2 things at a time. I have a bunch of hobbies but no time to enjoy them all. I think I was meant to be independantly wealthy with nothing but time and money on my hands.
