Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Thanks by the way. Definitely wanna shoot one now.

Looked at the Taurus PT709, which is a slim like the Walther. It wasn't bad for the difference in price. But I still like that Walther enough to spend the extra...

So I guess I'll go get the tool over the weekend, or just order the one in your link.

Damn that ring must have a tight spring. I have never used the tool but if you do get one make sure you put a rag in between the tool and the delta to prevent any scratches.

I actually got a better (and slightly more expensive) model, since the reviews for the tool in your link were generally shitty. For an extra $7 I got this one.

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemD...px?sku=ARR-046

Went ahead and picked up a new pistol grip as well, which will match the new vertical grip.

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemD...aspx?sku=11491

This will conclude the AR upgrades for now. Except I'll probably get a couple more magpul magazines, but Cheaper Than Dirt didn't have the ones I want.

Hopefully this stuff will show up early next week.

This is the quad I got, for $55 from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001WIUPJ0

I was afraid that since I paid so little it would be really heavy or cheap looking, but it's really light and looks great, and I just can't imagine why some of the other quads are three or four times expensive.

What do you guys think of Stag Arms? This one - http://www.stagarms.com/product_info...roducts_id=208 - seems like a good deal to me. Thoughts??

FFL is a licensed dealer (gun shop or individual) that receives the weapon from wherever you purchase it. You pick it up from him.

Yeah, and just to add to that, if you're buying any kind of an AR, you're going to have to find a local FFL you want it shipped to, regardless whether it says "FFL required" on the website or not.
