KC is not an exclusive fanbase member of the Big Leftover in spite of what Keitzman would have you believe. Tons and tons of Mizzou and SEC fans all through Kansas City. Sorry.

There are a few bandwagon fans on the MO side like Como that have no ties to the state, but the Missouri side is always going to be more MU fans.

I couldn't remember exactly. I believe the SEC went 6-3 & the Big 12 went 4-5 or 5-4.

Off the top of your head, do you remember what the other conferences sent to bowls?

Edit: If you don't know off the top of your head, don't worry about it. I was just curious how it stacked up. If I get curious enough, I'll google it.

Who knows. But by the looks of it it would appear this gentleman is enjoying yet another Final Four.

There are surely more Mizzou fans than KU fans on the MO side. I just think there are lots of people who are regional grads i.e. Iowa State, Neb, Arky, OU etc etc (or even mo state, umkc, etc) fans that they make Mizzou the plurality. Not a big point of contention, MU likely outnumbers any 1 single school by a large number.

Of course there will always be a large Mizzou contingent in KC Metro. I'm not sure what Kietzman says since I don't listen to him so I cannot speak for his comment, whatever it was. If you look at alumni counts, we find that KU-KSU have 100K here while Mizzou has 25k. That's a huge disparity. I think I once read Nebraska and ISU had 5-10K each so you can add ISU to the mix. Some bit of OU-Okie Lights. Some Wichita State, Creighton, UMKC, etc.

When you factor all them in, I can't see how the numbers get to be more than 20% at max of Mizzou fans here. Unless they have a lot of tee-shirt "bandwagon" fans. Which could be the case?

What about the dude who drove thru KCK evading cops the other night and smashed into a car before getting arrested in the bushes? Had KU basketball license plates! SO THERE.

KU/KSU might have 100k if you count Lawrence as part of the KC area. (Not saying that it's necessarily not, but context is important).
