If you both get a two card Blackjack it's a push. It's not possible for you to lose.

any casino I've ever played black jack in it's a push, you just get your money back, you shouldn't lose anything. What casino were you playing in?

It is a push, I can visualize the double tap of the dealers hand now.

It's happened to me several times in the CP casino, and Ari is correct, the player loses. It's ****ed up.

when i was taught(years & years ago) the house won all ties...so if you and the dealer both get blackjack, the dealer wins.
i'd think it would be best if you checked the house rules from where you're playing. gambling's a sin anyways...i use the money for booze. sec |

Actually if you get blackjack you get paid then and there before the dealer even turns over his cards. Thats how it works in Vegas. The dealer is not supposed to even turn over his cards if you get 21 then they pay you right away. You got robbed. But I am 100% possitive about it. I go to Vegas 4 to 5 times and year and I'll I play is blackjack.

Not quite. If the dealer deals you a blackjack and has an Ace showing, they will offer "even money" where you won't get paid 3:2 for your blackjack. If you don't take even money you get paid 3:2 if they don't have it, or push if they do. If they have a 10 card showing and an ace is underneath, it's a push.
