This. Got fed up with all D TV's bs and cut the cord this week. Rolling with Red Zone on Sling TV and an over the air antenna. Went through the Chiefs schedule yesterday and realized that between Chiefs games on primetime and times I'm out of town where I'll watch at a sports bar anyway, I count 4 games I'll either listen to via satellite radio or go to a sports bar here. That's assuming none of those are like this weeks game and put on local channels. **** off, DIRECTV.

Seriously. It sure seemed like he was more homer than normal last game. Sometimes I can deal with him but other in every game he will make some incorrect assumption or make an observation that is way off and never correct himself.

Eagle as I said in another thread is one of my favorites. Lets the game come to him and knows when to get excited. He was an amazing, not to mention hilarious, play-by-play for the NJ Nets back in the day.

My family had a black and white TV. Getting a color TV was a huge at the time.

What is the strategy behind one network showing 2 games and the other showing 1? Why don't they both show 2, so viewers have a choice for the late afternoon game?

The NFL in its infinite wisdom must think this maximizes how much networks will pay for the TV contracts, but it is hard to figure.

It sucks in the bay area. For the late game you might have some interesting match up like Pats/Steelers that is showing all across the country except for a small area around SF showing the 49ers.

And I am looking forward to the Raiders being out of my local TV market.
