Virus help
I was fixing a friend of mine's laptop and his system is loaded with viruses and spyware. I tried to open up task manager to stop some but it says "Task manager has been disabled by system administrator". I'm pretty sure I'm running as the sys admin but it won't start. The internet has been completely disabled so I can't download any software on it. Any way I could get task manager up or any other way to get rid of junk ?

When it restarts it will say something like hit F8 (I cant remember off the top of my head which F key it is) to eneter set-up. Then you can choose which mode to start it in, choose safe mode. The screen will not be the original resolution, don't worry, that is normal. Then you should be able to run an antivirus or spyware program. It is hard to know without being able to look at it what needs to be done.
Lately I keep getting a vundo virus. |
