Who Should I Start Thread

I didn't see one of these, here we go...

Pick One

Mark Ingram vs WAS
Donald Brown @ CHI
Pierre Thomas vs WAS

I have Adrian Peterson and Darren McFadden, but I'm sitting Peterson week 1. I don't think he's going to play.

Holy shit. Props to you for not putting your foot through your monitor.

Well, for me, I'm up 32, but my guys are done and he has Chris Johnson going for the Jets tomorrow night. Had I not freaked out over my receiver position and just played the guys the had gotten me to this point, I'd be up 47 and feeling much better about my prospects. Johnson has only put up that many points once this year - against Buffalo. But, I just KNOW how these things work out.....

Yeah, all of my good matchups did shit. The bad matchups killed it.

Russell Wilson with 41 points.

Dwyer with 8 points.

DeAngelo Williams with 18 points.

Heath Miller with 15 points.

Denver with 14 points.

Awesome.

That's the bitch of it all - you just really have no idea how it's going to go down from week to week. Luck plays as big a part in it as any kind of research could ever help with.

That ain't no lie. Pretty frustrating year for the jizzles this year.

Oh, and Welker with no targets in the first half.

Cecil Shorts or Steve Smith? I'm leaning Shorts, as baby puncher is way inconsistent.

Kaepernick or Dalton? Both have terrible matchups on paper.

My dilemma as well having Kaepernick and Schaub. Schaub is a safer pick this week going against Minnesota but they are a running team and Schaub will get you 250 and a TD maybe 2 if you are lucky. Kaepernick against a very salty Seattle D at home not to mention a divisional game. I see a much high scoring affair this time around compared to their last game that was 13-9. The reason why is both Kaep and Wilson have more games under their belt and playing better, have more confidence, both very athletic playmakers, thus the divisional competition between themselves for the top NFC WEST BIG DOG QB will be huge and both desperately need this game even though they both possess great Defenses.

BUT here are the 2 caveats about Kaepernick you have to remember: 1) He went into Foxborough against the best D schemer(Bellichek) in the NFL and put 41 on them. And Kaepernick is very athletic regardless of going against a salty D meaning there is always that extra playmaking ability he will have to score points whether with his arm or legs that Dalton only possesses with his arm.

The upside to Dalton is that even though going into Heinz the Steeler 2ndary is beat up all to hell and the Steeler D IS NOT the Steeler D of old and the Chargers exposed this big time just a few days ago and it is a divisional game.

I say it is a wash and whoever you go with you will be fine but at this point. I would say Kaep just on pure athletic ability to score with his legs which will open up the pass game regardless of the Seattle's superior 2ndary.

I gave Bellichek too much credit last week and sat Kaep and I paid for it not going with the hot hand.

Chiefs rush D is a lot better than people give them credit for at this point and when you watch what Clev's D did to the Cowgirls in Irving you will see Cleveland has a pretty salty D as well.

Now with all that being said in post #670 I have a another semi-dilemma in that I have Gore and Morris. If I start Gore it is more of a High Risk/High Reward play in my eyes than starting Morris in Philly. Gore/Kaep could get me double points if it turns out to be a high scoring affair or totally bust being a defensive game. Gore put up 113 and TD last time in SF but will that happen again on the road in Seattle?

Now that RG is starting the Philly D must focus on RG as well and just can't simply stack the box only focusing on Morris.

What say you?
