What in the world do Pioli and Haley look for in a nose tackle?

I was pondering that question because I, like a lot of people, thought the Chiefs would take Cam Thomas in the second or third round. The guy kept falling and the Chiefs still didn't take him.

Most nose tackles seem at least a little fat and lazy. It's in their nature. With that said, Pioli and Haley obviously aren't looking for fat or lazy players. I'd like to know what they look for in a nose tackle. I think we're at a point in the NFL where character could be more important than talent.

Yet Baltimore wanted Bryant, honestly if Baltimore wants a player that's all I need to know about his talent.

I've heard this may be their plan. But isn't Dorsey a little on the small side for a 3-4 NT?

1. Does he fit into the "right 53" and into the "process"?

2. Can he double as a return specialist?

Seriously, I can't root for a team with lame management like the Chiefs. This last draft is just the runny, ant covered, icing on the week old, dry, hard, cake that is the Pioli regime.

I have mentioned this before. I do not have inside sources, nor do I really know shit about anything but, I think with the fact that they passed entirely on NT in the draft and free agency for the most part, they intend to plug Dorsey in at NT. Is he short, yes. Can he bulk up to anchor, I think he has proved that without question.

I could very well see Dorsey at NT, Maghee and Jackson at ends to start the season if coached up by our new coordinators and assistants.

Do I base this on inside knowledge, no. Do I base it on anything other than a gut feeling, no. That's what's bitchen about this site, bunch of people just laying out their opinion. This ones mine, flame away ****ers!

I can't think of a 3-4 NFL defense with a worse NT than us. Every other team that runs a 3-4 has a pro bowl talent like NT that makes the linebackers and ends around him look like stars.

Any NT that has not achieved Eagle Scout status is pulled off the board. Apparently all the NTs this year never made it past Cub Scouts in Pioli's eyes.
