the gods used people as their play things, an explicit framing device in the original...i sure hope they don't water it down for some rocky-ized version of myth on horse steroids...

Part of the charm of the original was that it had a lot of dark stuff but plenty of contrast in the other scenes...for instance the mechanical owl...the scene where he captures pegasus....

I hope the trailer was just a taste because if the whole movie is that way it will be a disappointment.

The original had a lot of grand, mythical, "hero" moments. I don't want that dumped in the trash can for a lot of ARRRRRRRRRRRGH CLASH CLASH CLASH EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEME KRAAAAAAAAKEN SCENE!
