Who will play FS?
Will Eric Fisher get up to NFL speed quick enough to prevent injuries to guys behind him?
Will Rodney Hudson start to play at a high level and trust that his injury is healed?
Will the DL be able to get a push?
Will Houston and Hali stay healthy?
Will Alex Smith play the best football of his life and avoid injury?
Will Knile Davis fumble as much as last year in college?
Will Charles stay healthy?
Who will step up at WR2?
Who will step up as the slot receiver?
Will Dexter be able to hold onto the ball?

To act as if all this teams issues have disappeared is just plain silly homerism.
Good grief dude I didn't claim we were going to go 16-0.

There isn't 1 team in the NFL that doesn't have issues or concerns in certain areas especially concerning depth.

Listing whether certain players will remain healthy is an issue across the league and just ridiculous when you want to argue there is no reason for optimism.

Our biggest issues last year was terrible coaching and worse QB play coupled with a poisonous FO environment and philosophy.

Not my issue if you disagree, feel free to worry about the health of half the roster and whether Andy Reid is a terrible coach now.

If u ever have been dumped or dumped someone, then u move on. So how hard is it to move on from hatred for a player that hasnt even donned a chiefs uniform before. just saying.

BTW all the harsh words, damn, tell me how u really feel. or maybe it made u feel better to come up against a noob who can give it right back, just a little toned down as all

Look forward to definitely chatting with you this season....
Your team hasn't sucked ass for 43 years u have no idea about what this team does emotionally to its fans. It is like a big **** you. Yes football is only a game but its a game one gets emotionally invested in. If you are a football fan you are emotionally invested in your team. There is no halfway in.

This team keeps repeating its **** ups over and over again. The front office never learns. For some stupid reason I don't understand each and every coach and gm that works for the chiefs think they can win the Superbowl the way no other team wins it. Its like they take the hardest possible road to winning. It makes no sense .

What has Andy Reid done lately? Lunch, I believe
Is Jeff Allen good at LG? Given how he played last year, probably not
Can Dante Robinson cover anyone? Nope
Can Sean Smith cover good receivers? Sometimes, but usually nope
Can Berry cover good tight ends and keep us from giving up big plays? I still have hope. Never doubt somebody as talented and determined as Berry
Who will play FS? Probably somebody poopy
Will Eric Fisher get up to NFL speed quick enough to prevent injuries to guys behind him? Might be a few games
Will Rodney Hudson start to play at a high level and trust that his injury is healed? I think so
Will the DL be able to get a push? I think so on this one, too
Will Houston and Hali stay healthy? Neither of them have a glaring injury history, so yes
Will Alex Smith play the best football of his life and avoid injury? Probably not
Will Knile Davis fumble as much as last year in college? He's kinda struggling so far with it. Again, might be awhile before this problem is corrected
Will Charles stay healthy? Sure. He did all of last year even with Daboll's reerun offense that didn't do a good job protecting him
Who will step up at WR2? Starts with a T and ends in "errance Copper"
Who will step up as the slot receiver? McCluster. He brings his step stool with him everywhere he goes so he can step up and reach the top cabinet shelves
Will Dexter be able to hold onto the ball? Nope

To act as if all this teams issues have disappeared is just plain silly homerism.
My best guess to the answers

I actually found that to be Clay's most insightful and realistic and empathetic post. The gifs are awesome, the statistics are skewed. But that was real, honest, shit-upon fandom.

I agree his butthurt has gone too far. But damn if the triggers weren't very real. The Chiefs QB situation is a travesty at best.

I mean, for crying out loud, we could have still drafted Fisher, signed Bray, and got Geno in the second round. At least then we'd have TWO potential QBOTF duking it out. And we'd still have our second rounder next year.

Quite simply, the front office was unwilling to go through another losing season. So they got a solid yet unspectacular veteran starter. The dream of the first round QB will die for another decade unless we trade or cut Bray.

However, I do believe that Dorsey will pull the trigger on a QB if a guy he likes falls to them. I really do believe that.

I think you need to study up on concussions and their effects. And smith has had 2 concussions

Not that I'm normally one to mindlessly side with the team, but I would imagine their medical staff has far more information about Alex Smith's concussion history as well as concussions in general than any of us, and along with the visibility of the injury in today's NFL, I just don't think he'd be here right now if it was any more of an issue for him than any other QB. That had to be something they tested for...

Suffice to say, I'm much more worried about him being a limited game manager than I am him being a concussion waiting to happen.
