I know you don't like some of these terms, but it is what it is. If I (as an officer) feel like hands on is imminent and because of just about any reason I could get hurt during that exchange (I've had a hyperextended knee for an exchange with a 250 llb 13 year old before, btw) then that's when I think about the taser.

Because, every bit of training I've received says I can use it as an equal (sometimes more or lessor depending on that departments policy) tool to going hands on with someone who has no weapons and acts like they might resist. All training I've received states deaths from tasers could be equally or more attributed to other health reasons or drug consumptions.

End of the day, no case of purely taser use has caused death. And any death had other variables.

Not me - If you recall earlier - I'd indicated that Cops scare me more than Suge Knight would. If anything that's siding w/ the brothers.
