Not really. There'd be 1 million 1 post threads on the front page filled with everyone's favorite pick and you couldn't find a good poop thread or teacher sex scandal thread easily.

I see our WR coach and RB coach running the drills so does that give us any advantage in scouting the players?

Poop thread, is that like, . . . dental floss, or does someone have a severe diet compulsion?

The only thing holding me back from really liking Cooks is the fact that he has a really small catch radius; one of the shortest Wrs in both height and arm length. If we had a 2nd round pick, I would be all for it, but we don't. Also, if we take Cooks, I want us to take a shot at a guy like Martavis Bryant who has the length that Cooks lacks and can actually play on the outside.

Pretty much. If the front page had the number of combine threads that currently exist, people would complain (not to mention mock draft and fantasy football). Or combine threads would fall off to make room for poop threads, stifling more in depth discussion.

Conversely, it could become a mega thread that becomes as useful as a dictionary that's not in alphabetical order, complete with the typical CP slap fights sprinkled on top.

Or we could stop trying to act like power tripped hall monitors, and let the occasional out of place thread sink or swim as activity dictates.

This thread in conjunction with the draft forum is the best of both worlds. Combine info for the casual follower along with a place for deeper discussion.

Perhaps a little. Our coaches can try to test the things the FO is looking for, get a feel for personality, etc.

Of course that all hinges on the evaluation ability of those position coaches, which may or may not be a strength.

Today I was pretty impressed with Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Cooks. McCarron looked pretty good all things considered. Bortles looked pretty good. John Brown of Pitt State, Jerick McKinnon looked ridiculous.

I was unimpressed with a few guys. A few runningbacks that just don't do anything for me, and my #1 underrated guy is David Fluellen of Toledo. Only ran a 4.7, but it's his vision and smooth running that makes him look like a possible NFL back. Tajh Boyd is manure. I really don't see him ever doing anything in the NFL other than being a lifetime back up.

L'Damian Washington looked alright, but made a couple bonehead moves, and ran a good time.

Kelvin Benjamin was faster than I thought. I really only expected 4.65 at best.

Those are the main guys that stood out anyways aside from the obvious, Dri Archer, or Watkins.

I would love, ****ing love us drafting John Brown. He's blazing fast but small, however if you're wanting someone to replace McCluster he's the guy.

If the main board was only for football and was dead, I'd agree with you. That's not the case, though, so why not just open two tabs? It's not difficult to do.

I just got annoyed by the pricks bitching about the combine thread. My first thought was, I wish I could tell the starter of the nutshots thread that there was a forum for that. But, instead, I just open it up, click ignore thread, and move on. And I will continue to do so since obviously the other forum is not getting any support.
