2-14 record gets us the 3 when normally it would have been #1, and in that same year it is completely void of QB talent.
Isn't it great being a chiefs fan? We couldn't have traded out of that pick straight up, and the rams get this deal.

That draft was an abortion. We tried to trade down but there wasn't anyone worth taking #3 overall. CErtainly no one that anyone wanted to trade up for.

If they would have had the salary slotting system in place back then it would have been easy to trade out.

Nope. Timing sucked.

Right. No biggie then. But go back and look at that draft and it was utterly atrocious.

And Tyson had a good year this year. At least he's not looking like a bust anymore, but it's hard to EVER come close to living up to top 5 status for anyone. Esp a 5 technique end. Only Bruce smith could do that.

If we don't get Manning I'm confident the Redskins will have a better offense than KC next season.
Moss is not a possession WR... and he has a ton of miles on him. I wouldn't argue that he's on the way up. The other guys you mention have talent. But that said... Armstrong and Hankerson combined for 20 catches and 263 yards last year. Baldwin had 21 catches for 254 yards by himself.

never really thought we'd go for the #2 pick, we would have had to give up a hell of a lot more. It's Manning or bust, I'm not even sold on Barkley but I guess our only hope will be suck for him or whoever is the #1 QB. **** our lives.

Well Steve Breaston did have 1000 yards a few years back. You can play this merry go-round all day.
