Here is something to think about on what coincided with, the day Al Gore ran out of options, on December 12th.

1.) The Florida Supreme Court upholds the Clark decision on the absentee ballots for Bush.

2.) The Florida Supreme Court upholds the Lewis decision on the absentee ballots for Bush.

3.) The Florida House of Reps votes to send electors to Washington for Bush.

4.) The US Supreme Court finds, by a 7-2 vote, constitutional problems with with the Florida Supreme Court Decision and overturns for Bush.

5.) The US Supreme Court, by a 5-4 vote, halts the recounts in Florida saying time has run out.

6.) All of Gore's chances have run out on December 12th.

December 12th also coincides with the Feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. That celebrates when she interceded and helped to stop human sacrifice (it was very common to sacrifice people to their gods back then) in Mexico back in the 1500's. Many people converted and human sacrifice was no more. Read more here if you are interested;

Please understand that I am not trying to get into a religious debate. I just found it interesting that both dates coincided with each other. As a hispanic, I have read alot about this event.

Peace,
