I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

Apparently, the consensus among art historians is in disagreement with you (about that being Mary Magdalene), but Dan Brown says you're right:

Quote:
Some writers identify the person to Jesus' right not with the Apostle John (as is supposed by iconographical tradition and confirmed by art historians) but with Mary Magdalene. This theory was the topic of the book The Templar Revelation, and plays a central role in Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code (2003). They propose that the person in the painting seated, from a viewer’s point-of-view, to the left of Jesus is Mary Magdalene rather than John the Apostle, as most art historians identify that person.

LOL - first thing I thought of was BSG last season, I could see if Desperate Housewives did this but LOST? They don't think the same type of viewer would watch BSG & LOST? They have the need to generate buzz at any cost?

Coolest parts of that last article.

"9:26: Actors say the premiere had some head-scratchers, but Holloway says it also "felt like a finale, that scale." de Ravin: "I think I had to read it three times before it finally made sense." Lindelof: "Get ready to scratch your heads, America!""

"9:49: Harold Perrineau will be back in the final season. So will Cynthia Watros, aka Libby. Damon: "Fan favorite Libby will be back in the final season." Carlton: "All your Libby questions will be answered." Damon: "No, they will not, but Cynthia will be back."

I believe there was someone on Lost drinking Slusho, which was tied into the movie Cloverfield.

He puts Slusho into everything. Zoe Saldana mentions it in the bar scene early-on in Star Trek.

Fantastic. I hope it's more complicated than Flash Forward in Through the Looking Glass, as I called that. One of those, I'm not mad I saw it coming. I wish they'd do more with Desmond and Penny, though. I coulda gone with a whole movie based around The Constant.

yeah, TPTB said back before S5 that Claire would be absent for S5, but she'd be back for S6. I can't wait to find out what's been going on w/ her this whole time.
