It is amazing. I haven't heard one person say anything bad about him. Even with Pioli amidst the excitement some people were saying that Belichick was the real brains there. All I've been hearing about Dorsey is that there is no doubt this guy will be a success...

You should be thrilled.

I was at my lowest point as a fan when all that shit came out the Sunday of the Broncos game that Pioli was staying.

This has revived me and given me an incredible dose of hope.

Not only are the guys they hired talented, they are likable and I think they are going to do everything they can to get fans back.

It's an exciting time and I'm not going to let the stink of the ****ing trio of losers that has paraded around here the last 4 years ruin this one me.

We have the #1 pick, we have competent people in place now and a proven HC.

It does. I agree.

There's no bravado. There's no secrecy.

Reid seems genuinely happy to be here. People say the nicest things about Dorsey.

Reid's media blitz shows we're lifting the stupid media blackout.

Hiring Sutton shows both our HC and GM are comfortable running a scheme they don't know.

After years of Pioli's arrogance in doing things his way... how refreshing is it that Reid was given personnel power, but he still goes out and recruits a guy who is going to undermine his power? For the first time in years, I think we'll have a tremendous balance between coach and front office.

A lot to be really excited about. Forget that Dorsey's track record is brilliant. Those things above are really great signs that the culture is completely changing.

Dorsey was Green Bay's Director of Scouting for 14 years... he was directly involved in their drafts the past 14 years.

Fat Scott was a Player Personnel guy in New England... a less direct role in the scouting of college players.

If you are looking for someone from the Belichick tree to compare Dorsey to, compare him to Thomas Dimitroff... he was the same position. Dimitroff has turned out pretty well in Atlanta.

You are a Lambs fan so I wouldn't expect you to comprehend such a nuanced concept as the difference in hiring Fat Scott vs Dorsey.

As strange as it sounds that sunday/monday when it was announced Pioli wasnt fired I gave up. I was done with this team altogether.

Youre right though it does seem like these guys want to be here and Clark not dragging his feet has been wonderful.

Im sure ill get excited once free agency starts or when gutless ****ing pussies like lewis, cassel, jackson, etc are released.

I think Lewis will probably be kept for depth, but really he should have no place on this 53.

I'll be happy when we don't overspend to get a 5 tech again.

These guys are coming here to win, not to prove themselves and/or make a name for themselves.

Polar opposite to ****ing Pioli.

I feel like we actually have a chance to build something here. But an awful lot depends upon this coming draft. Can't stress this enough.

The excitement around Pioli was just:

1. We fired Carl.

2. We replaced him with someone who seems smart.

This is different.

We know these guys know how to win. 100 percent. This isn't a "potential" home run.

Clark hit a home run. Now it's just a question of is it a solo shot or a grand slam.

What's interesting is that even early Pioli ballwashers like myself (embarrasingly, admittingly) hated a lot of his early decisions. But we supported Pioli out of faith that he knew what he was doing.

This isn't the same. Reid is making a lot of really good moves that fit what we want. The only move we're sort of neutral about is the Sutton hire, but there's potential for that to be a good hire too.

The fact that Dick accomplished jack, and you are still hanging on his nutsack just further confirms the idiocy that you possess.

The fact that you can not read and understand the written word is even further proof.

Kudos! These guys as Andy says" Check their EGOs at the door". Take notes Egoli. They will get this done. Will we win a Super Bowl? Probably not with Manning and Brady in the way. Flacco is coming into his own too. Will we win a playoff game? no doubt!
