Disappointed in McCluster

Bla bla bla, he's a playmaker, he has two touchdowns already, whatever.

He has seven catches for 93 yards. 1/3 of that yardage came on one play. At least two of those are screen passes I believe.

That ****ing sucks.

This guy needs to be a threat as a WIDE RECEIVER. He hasnt made a single play down the field. I'm not even talking 20 yards. How about 10? How about coming off the line, putting your foot in the ground, getting open and giving Cassel a target?

I'm not willing to accept the idea that Cassel is so god awful he makes all our wide receivers look terrible.

McCluster hasn't done shit yet. And he was utter garbage in Indy.

Don't buy any of his ****ing t-shirts.

ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?

Heres a tip:

when we play teams that are weak on the edges, he will get more carries because those types of runs (sweeps, stretches...etc) are his strength...when we play teams that are weak at DT (like Indy was only dressing 2 dts) but speedy ends, he will get less of a workload.

The gameplans are built on matchups.

I could have told you well before the indy game that DMC wouldn't get as many touches as he has in other games.

Its no coincidence that Battle got so many caries in a game when the opposing team was weak up the middle.
Homers die hard.

Battle was getting even the freaking draw plays that McCluster usually runs on Sunday. McCluster is headed to the bench.

Im ALWAYS gonna be glass half full, but that doesnt usually take from my objectivity.

Interested in a bet?

Ill be willing to wager that if he doesnt get hurt he will keep his "offensive touches per game" average throughout the year.

After the dropped pass in the first half and causing a t.o to be called, I don't remember seeing him on the field much.

At this point he is what he his.

So was Justin Houston. Last year, Romeo did something similar, loading up a bunch of d-backs to scheme the offense. Especially players like McCluster, you get more time based on what the coach sees in the opposing team. If there's anybody who stands to lose carries, it's Jones.

He is averaging 10 touches per game right now, by years end I bet that number is closer to 12.

Id make a wager it doesn't go below 10.

2010 second round: it sucked then, and it sucks now.

Tough to say too much more about it.

You are counting those lovely garbage time touches again.

He went from 12 to 14 to 10 to 5 touches this week.

His stock is going down.
