I didn't know that the pit crew was in on the decision to kick Newman out of SHR. What does him getting kicked out have to do with how he treats his own crew?

Agree. But as you end your career, and I see him ending his at a younger age than Mark, most don't want to be known as an asshole. I'd be fine with it. Perhaps drive some change in the NASCAR rules, but I doubt he's that worried about it.

He'll be fine, but his days in the sport are numbered unless he gets more focused on it.

Payback? Most likely, and it does not necessarily have to come from Jeff.

I have heard teams pay other drivers that have nothing to lose to spin a driver out.
