Now it all makes sense.

the problem with game 3 wasn't really LeBron...he couldn't buy a basket, so yeah...

it was Danny Green and Gary Neal...they had that crowd AMP'D and the Heat couldn't go on any run because any time they tried one of those ****ers would just drill a 3

LeBron could've scored 40 that game and the Heat would have lost by 10+

85 of 109 is pretty ****ing ridiculous by the way

that was comparable to game 3

no way the Spurs have a shot of beating Miami when the "big 2.5" go for 85

That is not to say that he can't put up 30 whenever he wants to next year. But as of today, it was a complete fluke.
We are just going to agree to disagree on this. I use the word fluke for something that never happens or a miracle, like Birdman putting up 30-10 or something like that.

Not a 2 time World Champion and 9x All Star who put up 32 points in a critical Finals game

How many of them after February? That's the thing, he's been average - below average for the most part after the all star break.

I don't think anyones arguing that. But for what it's worth, if I had to bet on a player having a 25+ point game again in the finals, my money would be on Green, not Wade.

And... I said that the Neal/Green performance was every bit as flukey.

Because a guy who wasn't expected to have a stellar game, did.

I don't see that, but it woudl really depend on Parkers health. Green can't get 25 on his own and I'm thinking the Heat will be content to just run him of the line and make him put it on the floor.

He's not getting 25 that way.

Actually he was playing his best after the All-Star break until he got hurt in late March. To answer your question 15 since the All Star break

But thats the thing, a potential Hall of Famer having that game can't be as flukey as guys who were scrap heap d league guys.

Green hits his shots. As does Neal. Parker is a big part of that, but they can also accomplish that with ball movement and mistake-free passing. Something they were missing today.

It's less important that Green hit his open shots last game as it is that he had open shots last week that he had very little of today.

Green is a catch and shoot guy. Neal is a little more able to get his own show, but neither guy is a guy who can really create for himself.

If Parker can't play up to his capability, the Spurs won't have to help/double. Those open shots are going to be fewer and far between, same as they were tonight.

The Spurs shot 16 less three point shots tonight than they did in game 3.

Fair enough. But I was talking about the 25 point games. He has 3 since the break.

But at the end of the day, I'll be shocked if he has more than 1 game with more than 20 points the rest of the series.

I don't understand why you're using game 3 as a barometer for anything. Everybody acknowledges what they did that game was way out of the ordinary. No one is expecting them to even come close to that performance.
