Its mind blowing. If you are running full out stupid, you can get over 70 in a Denali. And the dealer said he had two fully tricked out 1/2 ton pickups that would hit 60. Il say this, she wanted the 2015 Yukon and it is a dream to drive. Its not easy to figure out all the technoshit but once you do its very nice. And Mileage is better with under 1000 miles than the Enclave got at 60,000

I've got another 18-months or so before I have the extra cash, and can start my search, but I will be after a 442 that I can fix up. It's stupid, because I don't know shit about cars. However, ever sense I was a kid, I wanted a 442 really bad. I think it will be a great project for my two Boy's and I to take on - obvously, with A LOT of help

So based on the poll, it appears that a frugal purchase would involve spending less than 25 percent of one's annual income and a vehicle, and a luxurious purchase would involve spending more than 25 percent. I find that interesting, but I guess it's not far from what I would have guessed.
It would be interesting to see if that threshold varies by household income. It seems like if you have a lower income you might have to go with a higher percentage, and if you have a higher income you might be satisfied with a lower percentage. But I wonder if that's really the case or if tastes adjust with income.

I remember back in 99 buying a 2 yr old Dakota 4x4 with 14k miles on it for 10k. Trucks used to be why you'd get for cheap transportation. Its reeruned how expensive they are. Yet people buy em up. Incredible.

The "Baby Porsche".
Fun car, love those things. A buddy had one in high school and it's a damn good thing it didn't run half the time or we would've died in it.
