A Marion County man was found unresponsive with a cheeseburger “attached to his face” inside his running car at a Hudson fast-food restaurant early Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At 12:15 a.m. a trooper responded to Wendy’s, 2011 U.S. 19 North, and found an older model Ford F-150 idling in the restaurant’s drive-through lane.

Donovan John Riffey, 50, 15681 N. U.S. Highway 301 in Citra, was in the driver’s seat and unresponsive as Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to wake him, authorities said.

As they attempted to wake Riffey, they noticed a cheeseburger from the restaurant “attached to his face,” the arrest report said. Riffey exited the truck and while leaning against the tailgate told the trooper he had a “couple” of Busch beers that night, according to FHP.

Riffey, described by the trooper as having the strong smell of alcohol coming from him, slurred speech in addition to slow, lethargic movements, failed several field sobriety tests.

Riffey, who remains in the Land O’ Lakes jail, is charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, and refusal to take a breath test. Bond is set at $1,250.

Whoah, big fail there buddy. Refusing the test no longer has any positive outcome...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I work on this guys car who is ALWAYS drunk.

One time he came in and his shirt was half unbuttoned and he had a slice of cheese stuck to his chest. Have you ever seen a slice of Kraft cheese that has sat out a few days? Hard, darker colored. Yeah that was this cheese.

Are there new laws?

A friend of mine refused the test after leaving a concert one night (he said he'd quit drinking earlier in the evening and was no longer drunk). They arrested and processed him that night and took blood. So, his picture shows up on the arrest report online (he had been a teacher previously, and this would have cost him his job most likely). They sent off, and it took the blood work a month to come back. He was under the freaking limit.

Still, he would have probably lost his job even though he was, technically, innocent. That's some ****ed up shit.

Honestly, only once in the lot.

And that was only because there once was a time when Hardees served a Monster Roast Beef (pure heaven of sliced beef + thick bacon), I made the mistake of doubling down on it, and afterwards only made it as far as the strip mall next door...
