Pretty much the same thing as happened here. Cut your main chute and pull the reserve. Not saying I'd want to try it or anything, but chances are you'd be fine.

I went skydiving last year and actually looked into the dangers a bit. From what I can tell, a vast, vast majority of skydiving accidents are due to operator error rather than equipment failure.

I didn't know his reserve chute had already opened, so it was kind of scary when the ground was coming up to meet him. It was cool that the eagle got out unharmed, too.

Those guys have a lot of balls climbing up the face of Half Dome. It took both of mine just to stand on the edge and it was a bit windy.
