No problem. That team was awesome, and as I recall, at the beginning of that season, not a lot was expected out of them. It was a helluva ride that year for sure.

calm the **** down, man. who's revisiting? was asking a simple goddamned question, not like I'm writing an A&E biography on it. who's being a chicken little; the person who asks a simple question and remarks 'yeah, that was a bitch (which was the tone of my response) or the one who jumps all the **** over the dude for asking a simple question.

and my attention is squarely on mizzou football, dude. got season tix and everything, enjoying the hell out of it (sucks that I'm in boston right now for a conference, gotta miss homecoming. right pissed about that).

have you considered taking a chill pill? a coke and a smile would work as well.

I think the opponent was the Washington Generals. Tigers led by over 20 for most of the game. Ross, Brown and Criswell could be beasting this year

If I remember correctly that team had Damon Stoudamire and Khalid Reeves. That was like on of the worst games in my life as a sports fan.

They went back to Hearnes because that's where that amazing 93-94 team went undefeated in the Big 8.

If you're old enough to have seen it, it's a pretty big deal. I love that team.

That triple OT game vs. Illinois was the one that locked me in as a Mizzou fan. I watched it on a 13" TV and was RIVETED. It was a crazy game... and turned out to be a pretty amazing team.
Who beat them in the Big 8 tourney that year?

So Booker is supposed to announce today at 3pm. From what I've read, Kentucky is supposedly the front runner. But I don't know if there's any substance behind those reports.

Most believed that to be the case until the last couple of weeks.

At this point it sure appears to be a legitimate toss-up.

With Kentucky after another 5* guard that will commit today, it has to make Booker wonder if he'd rather come to Mizzou and be the lead guard in a season or so.

I think it's about 80% Kentucky. They seem to think he's a done deal.

I know that I'm an adult and probably think much more rationally than a 17 year old, but if I were a top-20'ish recruit, the only way I would consider Kentucky is if I were a legitimate one-and-done player. They bring in players like that every year and, if you're expecting to be there 3 or 4 years, there's a good chance you'll get caught behind a logjam of them. Then again, these are 17 year olds and Cal is apparently a master salesman.
