Eric Winston is Full of Shit

And this video proves it....why doesn't anyone point out that it was flailing block attempt from his knees that sent his guy into Cassel

They have already turned it on all of the fans.
I don't think anyone is arguing that there are people ****ing stupid enough to do it. But a few people don't equal out to an entire crowd or the mythical 65,000 to 70,000 people that Jaws claims were doing it.

If we're going to use a few morons to represent an entire fan base, than every ****ing fan base is bad.

Once again, if the crowd was excited that Cassel was hurt there would of been no ****ing video at all. You can't edit out all the video and still have something to show.

Quinn enters as Cassel is walking off and there is a lot of cheering.
As chi and others have noted, this had to vary based on sections. Petro was also at the game, and the story he's telling does not match up with the bold, either.

I really don't understand it. ChiefsCountry was there and even equated it to being equal to when Arrowhead was rocking in the 90s when Cassel was down. I don't think there was any question at all, which is why it is so hard for me to understand how anyone could say otherwise.

And again, even though Winston is the only person getting play, there were other players who noticed it and spoke up as well.

I've watched the video again. Assuming that you are correct and that a brief section was deleted and that was the part where Cassel begins to rise, then lays back down. Quinn can be seen both before and after the 12 second mark beginning to warm up. Reason and opportunity enough, had I been there, to express my joy at seeing another quarterback loosen up and begin to cheer Quinn on.

There was absolutely, 100% a group of fans that cheered when they realized Cassel was down. People around me were talking about it, and as I said, I actually used it as an opportunity to talk to my kid about it. And no, it wasn't close to the entire fan base. I'd guess most didn't cheer at all. And I also don't think they were cheering that he was hurt so much as cheering that it meant he would be out and the backup in.

Yeah, this is pretty hard to discern. Good example about the subjective nature of history.

Don't forget Mr. gblowfish. His account squares with Mr. ChiTown's.

That, of course, is why Mr. doomy3 has called Mr. gblowfish a yellow-bellied, low-down, scum-wallowing liar.

Because, it was a really close game (FOR ****ING ONCE, AT HOME! ), we just made a key conversion to a 1st down, and the crowd was REALLY into it. I don't think Cassel's injury had much to do with the emotion at the time, but that's my perception obviously, and not your's.

Of course you can. The part that was edited out was the part where the crowd cheered when Cassel couldn't get up. I have already stated that he was down for 2 minutes or whatever and that the crowd quit cheering as loudly at some point. The video just cuts from the crowd cheering for the play to when Cassel had been down for a bit. It skips over the reaction to the injury. It isn't that hard to understand.

That crowd wasn't going to stop cheering for an injured Cassel.

Once again, that crowd as a whole or a majority of the crowd was not cheering. Nobody is saying all of the mythical 65,000 to 70,000 people there were not doing it, but it wasn't significant chunks or anything high enough to throw an entire fan base under the ****ing bus.

Might as well give it up fellas. Jaws on ESPN just said something along the lines What's even worse is fans trying to justify the cheering. Can't win this battle, but doesn't mean we lose the war

Question I have is why is the video cut at all? Did they press stop on the record button? I really doubt it.
