The 49ers have expressed to others that a deal for QB Alex Smith is effectively complete. Can't be finalized til league year begins 3/12

Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora

so it's not official, both clubs view it at as it's effectively done. I do not know the other team. KC and JAX are 2 teams that make sense

Didn't think so.
The skill set of NE wr`s were far better . Before 2010 smith had nothing.

Alex Smith is just a shinier version of Cassell. He's a Honda civic with a spoiler, Sun roof, and twenties. But he's still a civic

Nope, I haven't edited one second of Geno's footage, other than the bit that went in Frustrated Incorporated.

I'm just reading the tea leaves as I see them.

We ARE drafting Geno Smith. Today sealed it.

Freeman, Stafford, Cutler, Palmer, Rivers, Schaub, Dalton and Flacco

These guys are fringe franchise QB's who, if given a few bounces and a little luck, AND A GREAT TEAM with solid coaching, may win a Super Bowl.

I wouldn't trade our #1 for any of those guys. I'd rather take Geno and hope we get an Aaron Rodgers then take Andy Dalton or even Joe Flacco.

Stafford was pretty good two years ago but he still makes too many WTF throws and he took a step backwards this year. I don't think he's a winner.

Late bloomer, someone with exceptional knowledge of the exact offensive system that Grandpa wanted to run.

We're really going to acquire a soon-to-be 29-year-old QB? That's how the Reid regime will begin?

**** me. Might as well bring back Pioli's stupid ****ing ass.

As far as we know right now he hasn't. If they do trade for Smith and not take a QB at #1 then he is a POS and he deserves any hatred directed towards him and his family.
