This is where I have a problem.

I think it's like having $3 or some guy promising you $5.

And if you wait 2 years he'll pay you $20.

Take the $3 now...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I honestly wish I cared.

I need a good 2-3 game win streak to get my heart into it enough to give a spec of shit bigger than a gnat would leave on John Elways balls.

so they're getting smarter. still not as smart as a 12 year old that knows to win a Super Bowl you draft your own QB, but hey. Rome wasn't built in a day.
The Redskins, Browns, Dolphins, Panthers, Titans, Jaguars, Vikings, Rams, Lions, Jets, Buccaneers, Falcons, Raiders, Browns (again), Cardinals, 49ers, Redskins (again), Chargers, Bills, Bengals, Jaguars (again), Bears, Texans, Lions (again), Redskins (yet again), Falcons (again) would like to thank you for your keen insight as they polish up all their Super Bowl trophies they won since 2001.

The Donks would also like to thank you for the trophies they have won since drafting Jay Cutler and Tim Tebow. The Ravens would also like to thank you for the trophy won with Kyle Boller under center.

The only first round QBs drafted since 2001 that have won the Super Bowl have been Eli Manning, Ben Ruthlessraper, Joe Flacco, and Aaron Rodgers.

Each one of those four had an outstanding TEAM surrounding them.

Albert and Fisher as left and right tackles is a good thing, regardless of how you try to swing it.

I'll tell you two things, so listen up:

1) Until the Chiefs take a chance and draft a QB in round one, or at the TOP of round two, you will never see a Chiefs super bowl in your lifetime. Geno was easily the best developmental prospect in this draft. Period. And lets wait until actually starts playing before calling him a bust, m'kay?
2) Branden Albert is about to throw down the best year of his career, and you idiots are going to be eating dick on this board for MONTHS to come.

And you're smarter than even the TEAM WHO DRAFTED GENO with their third pick. Geno intrigued the Jets so much that they passed on him with BOTH of their first round picks. You're no different than the "true fan armchair QB's " you speak of.

Soooo...you're saying the Chiefs will go to the Super Bowl this year because they used pick 2.2 on a QB drafted 1.1?

You "think" he will sign a new contract and I know he won't unless the money is there. He wants to be paid like an elite LT and kc can't even trade him for a second round pick.

aaaaaand that's why he's gonna be gone after next season.... it's really funny that some of you are saying "once he signs his new contract, he'll switch positions!" But if he is expecting to be paid like an elite LT, why would kc sign him to a deal that pays him like an elite LT, only to move him to another position? How stupid is that? That's like the Broncos paying Manning elite QB money and then moving him to the bench. What the is the point? This is the issue with Albert, he's not going to sign the new long term contract unless he's making top dollar and kc is not going to give him top dollar because 1. he's not an elite LT to begin with and 2. they are gonna move him anyway.
