New club in town, Kansas City Table Tennis club. It's actually located in Overland Park at 91st and Metcalf.

Blazing Paddles league night is on Wed. and then they've got open tables pretty much every other evening in the week.

They just opened a few weeks ago and the plan is to have various league nights (beginner singles, intermediate / advanced singles, doubles, team leagues, etc.) as well as open nights and USATT sanctioned tournaments.

For now, though, the only league that is currently running is the wed. night thing.

Your first time is free to check it out. Then if you just want to come on certain days you can pay $5/day. If you get a monthly membership of $30/mo you can come as many days as you want, although tournaments and some leagues would be additional.

5 tables in there right now with room for 5 more during tournament days. It's a great place to play if any of you are interested.

I actually didn't watch the video I posted, and had never seen this full version before. I just assumed it was the short apparently edited version I had always seen. No advertisement stuff. Damn.

I like to play. I'm not half bad. But I can't imagine going someplace specifically to play. I play 100% of my ping pong as an afterthought when I am visiting somebody who owns a table.

Would love to play, Wednesdays are pretty bad for me but I might check it out. Im sure I think im better than I am but 4 yrs ago at work me and this other guy pretty much pwned ppl. We played everyday for like 4 months but then got moved buildings and kinda quit.
