***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Yep. The 2 most important stats for a receiver.

Yet, KnowShit wants to sit here and harp that Thomas reminds him of Moss.

In 3 years, it will be Jarvis, not Randy because he'll just be another Bronco first round bomb.

I'm done with this thread.

When the Chiefs win the West, I'll look forward to this shit for brains infesting another message board. Kyle shouldn't have to foot the bill on this balls in your mouth moron to come over here and spew this complete ridiculous nonsense.

If you took John Proctor, coupled him with voyager and sprinkled in some Midnight Vulture, it would not equal the douchebagness that KnowShit displays on this board on a daily basis.

3-0 > 1-2.

Thank goodness it was just a foot injury. That shouldn't impact his speed or leaping ability.

Peyton Manning just passed (no pun intended) Elway in career passing yards.

It is still 2 rings vs. 1.

Props to Denver for a killer air game. But you are right... Broncos gotta do better than 19 total rush yards at a 1.0 average. That squeaked by today, but you can't live like that for long. KC has more than twice Denver's rush yards & has played one fewer game. You better figure out how to fix that, or you will die.

Balance is the key... they won't find it overnight, and a lot of it has to do with the OL. No team can be one-dimensional and win consistently.... unless you have one or two PHENOM players, even then, you're going to fail when it matters most.

The interesting thing through 4 games - no team in the AFCW has shown they have consistent balance and production on offense. The division is still up for grabs.

The Chargers are averaging 450 yards per game offensively. They can pass and run the ball. They have balance.

The Chiefs showed pretty good balance in their last game. And, they are average 160 yards per game rushing and 160 passing. When you can run it as well as the Chiefs do. When your special teams and defense play very well. And, when the only time you have trailed in a game by more than four points is for about 3 and half minutes of the first quarter of the first game.... you don't have to pass that much.

I imagine the Chiefs could be challenged this week to throw the ball more. I don't know though, because the Chiefs have a great running game, and they may not have to go to the air that much.

I know Cassel will be tested in Houston because their run defense is stout.

I know I would rather run the ball 160 and throw it 160 versus throwing it for 380 and running for 50.

Just me though.

Stats are stats and that nice game vs the 49ers inflate your passing numbers a touch, but they are what they are. KC has a fine ground game, but through 3 games - I don't think you would really call KC's offense consistently balanced.

SD (as we said before the season) has the best potential to put a balanced attack out on the field more consistently than any other team in the division. They historically start slow.

I use equate 1 rushing yard = 2 passing yards.

150 yards rushing is like 300 passing. Rushing the ball wears down the defense, runs the clock, and basically puts the game in your control.

Indy will be sale out on the run and make Cassel beat them. It's a no-brainer.

And, if that formula takes shape... KC is SOL.

There are other factors in any game, of course, but if you look at past games for any team, the equation works out pretty well.

Of course you have to be balanced, or run the ball in such a dominant fashion (250-300 yards) that you don't have to pass.

And yes, Indy will probably slow the run down, so Cassel better play above his abilities.

Yeah possibly, but just maybe if they commit to hard,MOEAKI will sneak in there just enough so that we keep it close.I see it beaing a very tough game,Indy always kicks our asses and I hope we can figure this thing out.
