One season isn't going to undo 28 years of futility. The Pirates fanbase has steadily returned after three competitive seasons, I'm guessing the Royals fanbase will follow a similar process, especially with the introduction of dynamic pricing.

Ownership hasn't shown much interest in doing that over the years any way.


WE are the customer. It is incumbent up on the franchise to put forth a product we are willing to spend money on. Until they show that commitment on a regular basis the customers are going to be hesitant to spend their hard earned dollars in a down economy (or even a good one for that matter) on something that gives them little to no return.
