sorry for the belated trip report for the planet masses, as the computer talent inherited the virus from the sniffling sneezong aching coughing headache who couldn't rest traveler in front of us on the way home...

Trip was awesome! flew out of KC on Midwest...nice recaro seats..ordered breakfast (not bad), followed by multiple baileys and coffee...

Arrive in FTL with luggage..greeted by one of numerous limo drivers announcing I was entering the building...find shuttle, fill request of song and dance for latin shuttle drivers...always fun to watch 'elvis' break down the barriers of strangers..get rental car without a hitch and head to Hotel...pass a Harley shop with the Orange county Chopper Rig and trailer parked out front....prolly delivering a bike, etc.

check in...start partying, etc...head out to dinner and end up on FTL beach on a strip of clubs and restaurants..great atmosphere..colts and bears fans everywhere...party central..fullfill more 'elvis' requests..hit the elbo room..people buying me drinks...nice weather.. nice people...expensive parking...safely back to the room..the rest is history.

Wake up excited on gameday to rain...not too worried, considering the game is later in the evening...get ready to go...starting to get pumped...fullfill hotel managers request for pic and head out..easy drive south on the turnpike...wind up behind the colts convoy of buses..never encountered so many cops covering on-ramps and exits...end up parking about 2 miles from the stadium in a big grass and mud lot...thirty bucks...ouch.

Walk to the stadium was cool..meet a Chief fan right out of the car..lots of people walking...met a really cool guy named 'peacock' who was having a party and let me use his bathroom... he saved me!

Get closer to the stadium lots of pics, more Chiefs fans and random comments about Lamar(right on!) and maybe next year(had to laugh)...

Have no doubt the NFL puts on quite the setup for the NFL Experience...very cool..especially for the kids...

On the way into the game..meet Cris Carter..pretty cool guy, and in a hurry...get in the stadium..beers are ten bucks...again...ten dollars a beer...

Great seats...pregame show is killer..one moment I'll never forget is during the NA, they show soldiers standing at attention in Iraq live, and then switch to the cockpit of the lead pilot...and you could feel it coming...then the closest flyover I've ever encountered happened...it was very moving and exhilirating..

Equal mix of fans..though the crowd sounded louder for the Bears...the opening kick off return came right towards us..the crowd was going off...it started out very exciting...then the rain came. The End.

seriously thanks to my wife who took all the pics and video...as usual, she's a big part of everything I do and I could never be more blessed than to have her in my corner.

thanks for your support on this once in a lifetime experience...my wife and I had a great time.
