If not #1, where?

The draftniks keep saying that Geno Smith isn't worth the #1 pick.
None of them say he isn't the top QB in the class though.
If we don't take him at #1 how far is he realistically going to fall?

I see no scenario where he falls out of the Top 10.

So if he's the top QB in a weak class...
QB is our biggest need...
And he's gonna go Top 10 anyway...

Why not at #1?

Am I wrong to say he won't fall out of the Top 10?

Discuss...

Got any real names? Other than showing that you don't like what they have to say because you want to disagree doesn't qualify.
So far I have heard 1.

Saying it twice just because you change the words around doesn't make it a more powerful statement. A million picks on the QB wow that is a lot.

If they keep Palmer, then I don't see them drafting a quarterback all in this draft and instead will go with him that year. However, if they decided to cut Palmer, then I can see them drafting a quarterback sometime in the draft. It just may not be in the first round, in which I fear they well.

We don't have a choice but to take a QB #1 overall. They'll all be gone by the next time we pick.

This wasn't suppose to happen, not now!

Certain Chief fans on here were thinking the Chiefs should draft down and nab him, they had to have him! It could have been the golden moment to shine according to some of our draft "gurus" using that term loosely i might add.

Cleveland the next day was heralded in the sports pages that they stole the draft, even gave them an A grade.

I ask you, did Brady Quinn pan out over the years? Did He?
It's irrelevant. If KC had made that move I would say at least they tried. Had they drafted Brady Quinn there probably would have been another chance to draft his replacement. The other possibility is that we did a better job of coaching him up. By the time he got to the Chiefs he was already broken, never taught the proper way to do things.

A QB is the best prospect in the 2013 draft. If the Chiefs decide it isn't Geno, then I'll be disappointed, but not dejected. I'll give the same amount of patience and time to that guy that I would normally give to Geno.

I don't really ****ing care what the combines, pro days, and interviews have to say about the top non QB prospects. They're the wrong pick for the Chiefs at #1, and should be totally ignored unless one of those guys falls deep into the first round and the Chiefs really like the guy.

You know, I think this is a bullshit excuse: Either you can play the QB or you can't.

Rob Chudzinski didn't ruin Brady Quinn.
