...where was this show when I was 18, broke, hanging out with my brother and wife (who were also broke) on Friday or saturdya nights. ?

we would drink a case of beer, and 'partake' and watch American Gladiators.


Jesus....if this show was around back then, I wouldn't have gotten anything done.

....which is awesome. Dude we used to get a case or two of Natty (yes.....'that' natty) and my brother, his wife, and a buddy of mine and me, had a weekly ritual of Saturday nights; taco bell, multiple bowls, American Gladiators (and at some point Baywatch Nights....don't ask)....and tons of beer.

while yer bullshittin' ( a saying from my Navy roommate from Tuscaloosa)...we did watch a lot of that show.

but nothing compared to American Gladiators.
My brother's hatred towards "Hawk"....is still legendary. He called hime "Dennis the Menis".....why, we have no idea. but it made total sense at the time.

I had a friend in HS who was an absolute bullshitter, would think he knew everything about anything. When I heard about this show, I made it a point to watch it with him, just to see the bullshit in action.

my roommate, the 'while your're bullshtiin', was more of an expression of "hey, while you mention it" etc type deal.


there are other 'sayings' he had that I won't repeat lol
