I7 Asus 7770 video card, 16 gb ram, raid/stripe 1gb x 2 western digital 7200 rpm sata 2 hard drives as my desktop

I have the series Asus laptop before this one and it rocks, every game works at max res/detal

My laptop has a duo 2.53, 3gb ram, and a 9600m gt video card and it runs on default setting without any lag. About a 5 year old laptop. The requirements say I should only be able to play on low but I'm not having any trouble.

Are there really default settings or does it just assess your computer's capabilities and "default" to an appropriate setting level? The latter is how StarCraft 2 works.

it starts everything out at default. i had problems with lag at first, changed my resolution and now im able to run on high settings and my cpu shouldnt even be able to handle it
