***Official Draft Tyler Wilson Thread****

...might as well get this started early.

Perhaps his injury well allow him to slip to the middle of the of the 1st round,..where we tend to draft.

Why is espn pimping this turd?

Earlier this week, Landry Jones has already stood out among the quarterbacks
,looking the "most natural" of all the South signal-callers. The scouting report on Jones this week? It'll sound absolutely familiar to anyone who watched Jones throughout his four years at Oklahoma.

He's deadly accurate when he has time, the scouts wrote, but his elongated release can cause some problems, especially if he is short on time. He has outshone South teammates Tyler Wilson from Arkansas and EJ Manuel from Florida State.

This is on nationalfootballpost.com... I mean really are we being misled on the Wilson thing?
Quote:
1. Questions at QB: I asked three pro scouts who had the best week of practice in Mobile and I got three different answers: Ryan Nassib, Mike Glennon and E.J. Manuel. My take? I’m going with Nassib. The Syracuse QB will need to develop his overall game, but the skill set was the best I saw on the field. Without Geno Smith and Matt Barkley (both opted out of the Senior Bowl), this group didn’t have one QB that stood above the rest.

Doesn't Daniel Jeremiah write for that place? That dude wouldn't know a QB if one crawled up his ass, stuck his arm out of his mouth, and completed a 30-yard backshoulder strike off his back foot for a TD

Yeah if people here are raiders fans its just because of mcfadden. Aside from the cowboys and chiefs people usually just follow former razorbacks. The Cardinals (MLB) are huge here too but most couldn't care less about the NBA. In a way arkansas is our pro team.

Him and Jimmy Johnson too.

No pass rush and they are great QB's, but when the slightest bit of pressure comes their way, this is what happens to their confidence.

I think it is because the agent business has grown and diversified. Years ago sports agents were sports agents. Now they all belong to mega-groups that include sports, movies, tv, commercials, etc.

It's rumored that Katie Couric got the Teo interview because they share the same agent. It's a sports story that really only football fans really care about, yet he goes and sits with Katie.

I'd argue it's a "sports" story that "real" football fans DON'T care about. Vacuous Katie Couric is perfect.

CP posters on draft day after the 1st pick:

It's going to be hilarious because in my opinion, odds are that we will not. Any analyst with half a brain is saying we won't take a QB with the #1. None of them even have a first round grade. There is "reaching" and then there is suicide. This is far beyond reaching. What is hard to understand is why people aren't happy about the news that they might not go in the top half of the first? I hope we can get the best player at #1 and then get EITHER Geno or Wilson.

Also, the way some of you guys think Geno fits Reid's system better than Wilson is way off imo. I think all of that will come out in the next couple of months. I don't think some really understand Reid's system at all and I'll leave it at that.
