If you read political blogs, avoid them for a day. (Edit: That includes Drudge, pete...)

Avoid all commentators. They tell you what you think, and you will barge into DC threads simply repeating what some fat asshole with an agenda said.

No, the first debate by Bush was pretty much pathetic.

I would put it on par, at least, with what we saw a couple nights ago.
